A case of anxiety

55 year old patient came in with severe anxiety that lead to insomnia.  He was anxious about a lot of things, his business, his children, his health, his marriage.

By the time he came into see me, he hadn't slept in about 3 days and obviously was barely functioning.

I took his case with great difficultly since he couldn't concentrate.  I called upon my 15 years of  experience using homeopathy to help since I couldn't get much from him.

He was so exhausted, he wanted to lie on the bench that's in the office.  He would close his eyes and about 30 seconds later jump up and pace the floor.  Of course I tried the obvious remedies, aconite, arscenicum album and a few others.  Nothing helped.  He kept jumping up after lying down on the bench.   This was the pattern he was experiencing at home during the nighttime hours.

Then I gave him a dose of Carcinosin IM.  Voila!  It was like magic, he fell asleep and  stayed asleep!  What do I do, let him sleep?  Wake him up and send him home?  I decided to let him sleep.  And he slept for two and a half hours.  We were both amazed!

I sent him home with Carcinosin LM1 to take daily.  He reported to me that he slept for nine hours that night.

Carcinosin was the remedy that was right for him and that he turned to when he needed to be back in balance.

A bit about Carcinosin.  It's a cancer nosode.  It is not a remedy that has been studied or written about a whole lot.  I remember in my homeopathy class a one page write-up about the remedy, that was all we got.

Someone needing carcinosin, you'll see a tremendous amount of anxiety especially for others.  This was true in this case, a strong, unusual  concern for his children.  A great sense of responsibility.  Fastidious, not for dirt but for a certain order.  Does not express anger.

This was really big in his case: fear of being alone.  He couldn't shave alone in the bathroom in the mornings, he would ask his wife to come into the bathroom and join him.

Difficulty making changes in their lives, it feels out of control.

In the heart area, a tightness as if the heart is constricted.  I've seen this again and again in Carconisin cases.

Think of Carcinonisin if your client has had a history of mono or chronic fatigue syndrome or a family history of cancer, diabetes, leukemia, tuberculosis, or schizophrenia.

And lastly, if the children of your clients have cancer, consider this remedy for them.
